Underground Storage Tank (UST) Certification Training

The NJWEA will present a full day Underground Storage Tank (UST Certification/Recertification) Seminar on Monday September 21, 2009 to be held during the NJWEA Technology Transfer Seminar at the Sheraton Hotel in Eatontown, NJ.

The seminar is a prerequisite for renewal of the 3 year UST Certification. Topics that will be covered include the most recent NJDEP rules and regulations affecting the installation, closure and subsurface evaluation aspects of UST management. Note that NJDEP is now requiring certificate holders, previously “grandfathered” due to education/experience, to take a
certification examination.

Operator Licensing Rule ADOPTED by NJDEP

The NJDEP has ADOPTED the Licensing Rule proposal in which NJWEA had an opportunity to participate.
